hope's blogReview of Bumbo Baby Sitter / SeatBabies love these, but I have a warning
![]() Bumbo Baby Sitter Lilac
Our daughter was able to start using her bumbo when she was about 2 months old.
As you can see, she is a skinny little thing. She was fine in it for a couple months. She loved being able to sit up and see. We loved that she could be "put" somewhere if we needed to go to the restroom or wash bottles or something (yes, we hauled the bumbo into the restroom with us). Within a couple of months, however, she was able to push off with her feet and flip herself out of it. The first time we thought it was a fluke, but once she did it again we had to put the bumbo away so that she didn't get hurt. She could have really injured her head by hitting the floor. Here is a picture of Quinn at four months trying to escape the bumbo.
Review of Kiddopotamus & Co Swaddleme Adjustable Infant WrapGreat for babies who like to be swaddled, but only works for a while
![]() Kiddopotamus & Co Swaddleme® Adjustable Infant Wrap 100% Cotton Knit Small, Circle Bear Print
We used several of these with our daughter. They were really easy to get her in and out of and kept her all snug and secure. After it had been washed several times, though, the velcro stopped holding as well. It was partly due to her being more wiggly, though. I had some old ones and some new ones. The newer ones are better because they have flaps for the velcro to hold onto so that it doesn't stick to everything in the wash. There is a slit in the back so that you can use this in a car seat. That is COMPLETELY ridiculous. I can't imagine how that would work, besides, it would be a safety hazard unless you left the baby's arms out. They come in polyester and cotton. The cotton ones are much nicer. I would suggest trying one, because they really were nice for a while. If they work for you, you would probably want at least one more to put in the laundry rotation.
Review of Tiny Love Froggle Bath CenterTiny Love Froggle Bath Center Nearly useless bath toy
![]() We ordered this bath toy thinking that it would be fun for our daughter to play with. It turns out that it is hard to use and not very much fun. The buttons are difficult to push. When you do push the buttons, the "action" is pretty boring. It is also impossible to get the water out of it. The suction cups are also bad enough that our one-year-old can pull them free. A waste of money! Tiny Love Froggle Bath Center
