Nap drama -- really need help!

As you may or may not know, Quinn goes to a private home for daycare 3 days a week. There are 2 other children there -- both toddlers and "good" nappers.

The babysitter used to have our daughter nap in the swing everyday. We had no idea that she NEVER slept in her pack n play there. We thought she occasionally fell asleep in the swing and were ok with that. She is now big enough that she is grabbing the bars and can hurt herself, so they asked us how we get her to nap.

At home, she has a bottle/nurses in the glider and passes out -- end of story. She typically takes a 40 minute nap in the am and pm. At home when she wakes up or doesn't go down well for a nap she is playful and happy in her crib or whines. She typically doesn't cry.

They have tried rocking her to sleep (wakes up immediately and cries), rocking her until drowsy and putting her down (stands and cries) and putting her down wide awake (stands and cries). She will cry for as long as they leave her in her pack n play. She stays awake all day long and won't give in. The babysitter doesn't really have time to fool with her with the other 2 boys around that are into everything.

We found out today that this WHOLE time they've been giving her cold bottles. She HATES cold milk plus that probably means that she isn't getting the sleep-inducing fat that is probably still stuck to the sides of the bottles. I really think that warming the bottles will help some, but who knows if it will be enough?

We pick her up at 5 pm and she passes out in the car in 3 minutes. She is ready for bed by 6 or 6:30.

This. has. to. stop. The babysitter agrees and basically told us that if we can't come up with something that we need to find a new place to go. We sort of agree, but can't imagine another place where she would get this level of attention.

Any suggestions for napping magic?
